Cats need to be dewormed once a month after two months of age until they are over eight months old, and then every two to three months for preventive internal deworming. The amount of deworming for cats should be based on the cat’s body weight and should not be given to cats in excess. If the cat is already infected with internal parasites, it will need to be given a week’s interval after the dewormer.
