Ringworm is a skin disease of cats, most commonly found on the face, trunk, limbs and tail, with round or oval patches of ringworm covered with grey scales. The infection can be contracted through malnutrition, weakness or environmental and climatic factors, or through contact with a pet with the disease. This can be avoided as long as the cat has a normal immune system and is hygienic and clean.
