The dog is afraid to land on its front legs. The owner checks for obvious trauma and foreign bodies, if so disinfect and clean the dog and remove the foreign body and bandage the wound. If there is no obvious trauma it may be caused by a fracture, muscle strain or joint disease. It is important to take your dog to the vet promptly for examination and symptomatic treatment.
