The following very rare adverse reactions have been observed with Nizoral: mild gastrointestinal reactions (vomiting, diarrhoea), pruritus, drowsiness, loss of appetite and neurological symptoms (convulsions, ataxia and muscle tremors). Most of the adverse reactions are self-limiting and of short duration (‘very rare’ meaning: contains individual cases of adverse reactions to the drug with an incidence of 0.1%).
