The Doberman Pinscher is a very fierce breed, mainly used for military and police work, but trained to be a search dog, hunting dog and sheepdog. Females are quiet, sensitive, loving family members and wary of strangers. The male is very intelligent, but is fierce, impulsive, aggressive, wary, brave and loyal, durable and needs training. This dog is heat and cold tolerant and is suitable for urban living.
