Steamed buns can be given to cats in small amounts, but not in large quantities. Cats eating steamed buns for a long period of time will suffer from diarrhoea and vomiting, causing a gradual decline in their health. Cats are carnivores and meat and fish are high in phosphorus and rich in animal protein to meet the nutritional needs of cats.
