Can a dog’s eyes turn blue and heal on their own?

A dog with blue eyes is commonly known as blue eye, and can usually recover with regular treatment. Canine infectious hepatitis is an acute septicemic infection of dogs caused by canine adenovirus type I. The main clinical signs are hepatitis and corneal clouding (i.e. blue eye). The best way to prevent this disease is to give the dog regular health immunisations, with the same procedure as for the distemper vaccine.
