Dogs with smelly ears with what medicine

For ear odor caused by while ear mites, owners can use an ear cleaning solution by putting a few drops in the ear and covering it for a minute, followed by a cotton swab to help clean the inside of the dog’s ear canal. While cleaning, use a mite killing solution that not only kills existing ear mites, but also inhibits subsequent breeding and reproduction. Ear washing should be kept up for two to three weeks and will eliminate the problem of smelly ears. For otitis media or otitis externa, we also need to clean the ears well. Use an ear wash with anti-inflammatory properties to clean the dog’s ears and trim off any long hairs near the ears. If the ear is properly inflamed and swollen, then more cleaning is all that is needed. If the inflammation does not subside, then it is best to take your dog to the vet for treatment.
