Calculation of the age of the dog

Dogs are the equivalent of 18 years old for humans when they are 1 year old, at which point the dog becomes an adult. After one year of age, each subsequent year of a dog is equivalent to a four-year increase in human age. Generally speaking, when you say puppy, you mean a dog under one year old, and when the dog reaches 7 years old or more, it is called a senior dog. Dogs are generally ready to be wormed and vaccinated at 2 months of age, and sexually mature at 6-8 months of age, when they can be considered for neutering. If it is a male dog of a large breed, try to do the de-sexing surgery around 10 to 12 months of age, because for large dogs, premature de-sexing surgery may cause the growth plates to heal early and affect the normal bone growth and development of the dog.
