Dogs must be supplemented with nutrients dogs, like humans, must have protein, fat, carbohydrates (sugar) and other three major nutrients in order to develop and maintain health. Protein is broken down into amino acids in the dog’s body, which are beneficial to the dog’s various organs, muscles, blood, bones, coat, skin, toes and paws, and other tissues. Once fat enters the body, it will stay in the digestive organs for a long time and give a sense of fullness. If too much fat is given and the dog does not exercise enough, the accumulated fat will become the cause of obesity. In addition to protein, fat and carbohydrates, minerals and vitamins are indispensable to the dog’s body.
