The correct way to hold a husky puppy that has not been born long is to put both hands together, one on its chest and the other on its hips. The hand that holds the chest separates the fingers and clamps the two front legs of the puppy, clamping the puppy with both arms to make it feel warm and secure. For larger dogs, bend one arm and let the dog sit on it, then wrap the other arm around it.
