What are the symptoms of rabies in dogs

Dogs with rabies generally show signs of hyperactivity, red conjunctiva, abnormal behavior, fear of light and water, drooling, unprovoked attacks on people or animals, and muscle tremors. After 2-4 days, in the later stages of the disease, dogs will show severe symptoms such as hind limb paralysis, swallowing disorders, coma, hoarse barking, organ failure, and will eventually die. Most dogs with rabies will show two extreme symptoms and alternate between them. Early on, they are generally more hyperactive, such as showing teeth, active biting, drooling, rapid action and dilated pupils, because the rabies virus mainly attacks brain cells, which is why they are so violent, but in the later stages, due to the high number of injuries, the dog will fall into a gloomy state with disordered limbs, poor balance, unconsciousness and even shock and coma, and eventually death.
