Characteristics of canine roundworm disease

Clinical signs of infection in dogs: gradual loss of weight, pale mucous membranes, loss of appetite, vomiting, sleepiness, poor digestion, and the beginning of bloody diarrhoea. Occasionally, epileptic spasms and developmental retardation are seen. In severe infections, the diagnosis is confirmed when roundworms are often excreted in their vomit and faeces.
