Dogs are fine with kiwis. Kiwifruit is the “king of fruits” and is rich in vitamin C and a lot of trace elements that can meet part of your dog’s nutritional needs. However, kiwis should not be eaten in large quantities because they are cold in nature and may stimulate the stomach, causing diarrhea and vomiting in dogs. If the kiwifruit is completely immature or if the skin is not ripe, you should not give it to your dog because the hairs on the skin and the immature acid can irritate your dog’s intestines. To feed fruits to your dog, it is best to choose those that are commonly available, such as apples, pears, bananas, etc. These fruits are also recommended to be consumed only occasionally.
