Puppies do not eat anything when they have a cold

It is normal for puppies to be unwell and not eat when they have a cold, at which point they need to be treated for the cold. Use special cold medication for pets to treat, and follow the drug instructions to determine the feeding dose. If the puppy’s body temperature is high, it needs to be cooled down using ice packs and other means, and if the body temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius, then a fever reducing injection should be given at the hospital. If the dog has lost its appetite, then it needs to be treated with fluids, because puppies do not eat for a long time, which can lead to hypoglycemic shock, and general infusion therapy to supplement nutritional fluids. During the cold period you can feed some well-digested liquid food, such as goat milk powder and nutritional cream.
