There are more causes of sudden blood in urine in dogs, mainly including violent impact, urinary tract infection, urolithiasis, renal hematuria and so on. Hematuria is a more serious symptom, often suggesting abnormalities of the urethra, bladder and kidneys. The clinical manifestation is the presence of a large number of red cells in the urine, accompanied by systemic or idiopathic symptoms, and prompt medical attention is recommended. Consider a violent impact, such as a dog being hit by a vehicle or crushed in the abdomen, resulting in bladder, urethra or kidney damage and consequently hematuria, which can usually occur within a short time after a violent impact.
