Ticks can be found on dogs when they are infected. Ticks are exogenously infected parasites, and if the dog does not go to a tick-infested area such as grass or bushes, then the chances of being infected with ticks are very low. Owners can carefully examine the surface of the dog’s body to see if there are soy-sized black and brown insects, and if abnormalities are found, they need to be brought to the vet promptly for treatment. When a tick infection is encountered, use a topical dewormer (Big Pet or Fleen) wiped on the back of the dog’s neck, the tick will die and the mouthparts will automatically fall off when they loosen and shrivel. After the removal of the skin broken part of the rub chiropractic medicine, keep the area clean.
