Taking a dog’s temperature

If you want to measure your dog’s body temperature, it is usually more accurate to use the anal thermometry method, which is to measure the temperature of your dog’s rectum. First prepare a dog thermometer, then hold the dog down to avoid movement, lift its tail and gently rotate the thermometer and insert it into the dog’s anus. The measurement time is about three minutes, after which the thermometer can be removed for observation, during which the dog must not be allowed to move around and be careful to break the thermometer in the dog’s buttocks. The normal body temperature of dogs is generally between 37.5 to 38.5 ℃, small dogs will be slightly higher, if it is beyond this range on behalf of the dog is sick, to promptly take the dog to seek medical treatment.
