The dog needs a few more practice sessions to execute commands smoothly, and overall performs as well as the higher ranked dogs, except that the movements are not as smooth and consistent, and the reaction time is slightly slower by half a beat. The Deerhound, known as the Miniature Doberman, is alert, intelligent and loyal. Despite its small size, it is very brave and makes a great family dog. However, the Deerhound likes to bark and is more sensitive, so owners may find it rather noisy.
