Dogs with ear mites should be treated with medications containing dacronin or florfenicol. During the treatment of ear mites, the owner needs to clean the dog’s ears with an ear wash, usually by putting drops of ear wash in and gently massaging for a few minutes and then letting the dog shake it out on its own. After shaking out the dirt, use cotton swabs and paper towels to wipe the outer ear and then apply the ear mite medication.
