The sandpiper dog can develop and grow up in the ten months after birth, with a normal height of 45-56 cm and a weight of about 20-25 kg. Its body shape is unique, with a head like a hippopotamus, a mouth like a tile, triangular eyes, a greenish-blue tongue, and a whole body full of skin folds when it is young, so it is called a sandpiper. The Shar-Pei is one of the fighting dogs with a head more similar to a hippopotamus, a wider mouth, and triangular, slightly worried eyes. As a puppy, the Shar-Pei’s entire body is filled with folds, hence the name Shar-Pei. The Shar-Pei is relatively small in stature, with its head taking up a large portion of its body. The nose is black and the tongue is dark blue.
