The microviruses mainly target the gastrointestinal system and can cause a lot of damage, usually within a week of infection. SCT causes loss of appetite in dogs, accompanied by vomiting and diarrhea, mostly in the form of jets or blood in the stool, and in severe cases, dehydration and eventually shock, with a high mortality rate in puppies. Adult dogs have a very low incidence and generally do not show obvious symptoms, only a certain fishy smell in the feces, loss of appetite, if not serious, no treatment is required. Dogs infected with microviruses can be clinically classified as enteritis and myocarditis. The main manifestation of the enteritis type is fever, body temperature can be as high as 40 ℃ or more. The myocarditis type can suddenly develop respiratory distress and heart failure.
