Large ears are not impure. The ears of the French bull are typically “bat ears” and are generally medium in size. The roots are wide and the tips are rounded. The ears are located in a high position on the head, with a large distance between the ears, standing ears, with the ear orifices forward, and delicate, soft skin when touched by hand. If the dog’s ears are not in an upright position, they are out of order. There are also puppies whose ears begin to stand at about 5 weeks until they can go to a new home, when the puppy can basically see the standing ears.
