Whether a cat can heal itself from a bone cut depends on the specific situation. If the cut is only minor and superficial, most cats can heal themselves in about two days. If the situation is too serious, such as blockage of the intestinal canal, perforation or the like, it will not heal itself and if left untreated, the infection may worsen and in serious cases may even cause life-threatening injuries. Therefore, in the course of daily feeding, if you encounter a situation like this, it is recommended that you do not have too much faith in your cat’s ability to heal itself and do not take any chances, but preferably take it to the hospital for examination and treatment.
