The lacrimal glands of pets are an important accessory organ of the eye, and their main function is to secrete tears to moisten the eyeball. Under normal circumstances the lacrimal glands secrete tears to moisten the eyeball and then enter the nasal cavity through the lacrimal duct, and do not flow out from the corner of the eye. If for some reason the lacrimal gland produces too many tears to drain through the nasolacrimal duct, they will flow out of the corner of the eye and over time, the excess tears will leave a tea-coloured tear stain on the coat.
