There are two types of sweat glands within a dog’s skin, one being the sweat glands, which are distributed throughout the body. Because dogs are covered with a thicker coat, the sweat glands have little to no cooling effect. The other is the small sweat gland, which is only located on the skin of the soles of the dog’s feet, but the soles of the feet are smaller in size. The soles of the dog’s feet have been rubbing against the ground for a long time, so the fleshy pads on the soles of the feet have a thicker stratum corneum, which has a limited effect on heat dissipation.
