What to Eat for Enteritis in Dogs

Dogs with enteritis generally need to be fasted for 1-2 days and treated with medication according to the doctor’s instructions. The dog can be given sugar saline in small amounts several times and can be fed some liquid food once the symptoms have subsided. Dogs should be given easily digestible food, such as cooked carrots and pumpkin, to supplement dietary fibre and vitamins.
