Once a cat appears to have no energy after vomiting, several reasons need to be considered. First: the infectious disease feline distemper. Feline distemper is a highly infectious disease with clinical manifestations such as depression, loss of appetite or wasting, diarrhoea, vomiting and dehydration. Second: Parasites. Parasites can migrate in the intestinal tract causing vomiting. Third: Foreign bodies. Once a cat has eaten something it should not eat it will cause an obstruction in the gastrointestinal tract, causing vomiting etc. It is important to get to the hospital as soon as vomiting and lack of energy occurs.
