If the cat has occasionally ingested a large amount of calcium tablets by mistake in one go and has vomited, become constipated or is in a poor state of mind, it needs to be taken to the animal hospital for examination and infusion of fluids for metabolism. If the cat does not show any discomfort, it is fine to feed more water at home to help metabolise it.
