Once a cat has a problem with ticks on its body, it is safer to recommend taking it to an animal hospital for removal. This is because pulling it out yourself may leave the tick’s head in the skin, leading to conditions such as infection. Again, the presence of ticks should be treated with deworming and avoided outside.
