It is recommended to use cotton swabs or clean toilet paper to clean up the white discharge around the cat’s nostrils. If the cat has abnormal symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, coughing and fever, then the main cause of respiratory infection should be considered. If any of these symptoms occur, owners are advised to take their cat to the vet for further examination and treatment.
