What should I do if my cat is constipated and can eat and drink?

There are many causes of constipation in cats. Usually, constipation does not affect a cat’s appetite, unless it is prolonged and severe. Common causes of constipation include feeding large amounts of indigestible food, insufficient water intake and blocked hairballs. It is recommended to feed your cat food with an adequate amount of water to facilitate drinking.
