What is cat scratch disease?

Cat scratch disease is an infectious disease caused by the invasion of Hansenbachia into the body after being scratched or bitten by a cat. The main symptoms are localised erythematous papules, localised lymph node enlargement, fever, abdominal pain, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, headache and sore throat. A small number of patients may have complications such as encephalopathy and serious organ damage.
