What does ringworm look like in the early stages?

In the early stages of ringworm, most cases occur on the face, ear tips and trunk of the limbs. At the beginning, it will show localised hair loss with grey scales, and the hair loss will mostly be in a circular pattern, slowly progressing to the whole body with small localised crusts on the skin in many places. If your cat notices any unusual hair loss, it is important to take it to the vet as soon as possible for examination and treatment.
