A week-old cat means a cat that is bought and has a disease problem or even dies within a week. The trafficker knows the cat is sick and gives the cat a shot of antibodies and then sells it quickly at the bottom price. Within a week of arrival, the cat will suffer from diarrhoea, loss of appetite or even hunger strike, with a high mortality rate if not detected and treated in time.
