Firstly, cats should not eat bones after pregnancy, followed by poultry bones and fish with spines, mainly because these bones are easily broken and have sharp sections, which may jam the cat or enter the body and cut the gastrointestinal tract, thus causing bleeding and damage to the pregnant cat’s body, which can seriously cause miscarriage. Secondly, do not feed raw meat to pregnant cats, mainly because raw meat may contain parasites, which will increase the probability of infection and lead to diarrhoea and vomiting, and in serious cases, the parasites will be transmitted to the foetus through the blood. Finally, be careful not to feed too cold food, mainly because too cold food will cause irritation to the cat’s stomach and intestines, resulting in diarrhoea, if the ambient temperature is colder it is best to put the food at room temperature or slightly heated to the cat to eat.
