What are the things you should pay attention to when training your dog?

Before training a dog, we must be able to understand some basic body language and the reasons for barking. For example, what is the tail wagging for, what does the hindquarters lift for and so on. It is important to understand the basic behavioural language of the dog so that we can train him better. Dog language is expressed mainly through the body and mastering it is a must for owners. Do not correct the problem by hitting, it is said that dogs do not listen to be beaten, it must be denied that hitting can indeed stop the wrong behaviour of the dog at that time, but hitting the dog often does not make it understand what it has done wrong, what we should do is to guide, let the dog know what is right and what is wrong, hitting can only make it fear you and obey, and does not solve the root of the problem. Don’t rely too much on food treats as one of the necessities in training, too many treat rewards can lead to dogs obeying only when there is a treat and not doing the action without it, we should let the dog build up the mentality that treats are a surprise and the owner’s petting is also a reward. This will prevent the dog from developing the behavioural awareness that he will only do something if he is rewarded with a treat. And it’s not just food that motivates a dog to obey, in fact anything he likes can be used as a reward. Don’t change the commands you have set at random. Once a command has been set, don’t change it at will, as that can easily confuse your dog.
