Canine microcephaly is divided into enteritis type and myocarditis type. Enteritis type: Initial depression, anorexia, occasional fever, soft stool or mild vomiting, then will develop into frequent vomiting and severe diarrhea. In severe cases, the dog may become dehydrated, lethargic, inelastic skin, and electrolyte disorders. The risk period usually appears around the fifth day of illness (death), and most of those who can persist for a week are cured. Timely medical treatment can significantly improve the survival rate. Myocarditis type: Usually no obvious symptoms, or only show mild diarrhea, heart auscultation murmur, often in a few hours or 1-2 days suddenly die.
