There are many intelligent dogs and there are rankings when it comes to intelligence. The most intelligent dog in the world is recognised as the Border Collie. The adult Border Collie has the IQ of a child of about six years old, but is large. This is followed by the Poodle, German Shepherd, Golden Retriever and Pleasant.
