The Universal Terrier is a terrier extra large terrier, taking its name from the Airedale Stream Valley in Yorkshire, where it originated. Gentle and kind, they make good ornamental dogs, pet dogs and companion dogs. With training it can be a good working dog, hunting dog etc. This breed has been used in the British Army and is very malleable.
