The signs of depression in dogs

When a dog has depression it loses interest in everything around it, is listless and depressed every day and likes to be left alone in a corner. Some dogs may suddenly become irritable, scratch or bite themselves, become timid, unapproachable and unattractive to their owners. When a dog is in any of these situations, owners must spend time with him, reassure him and take him to the hospital for a check-up if necessary.
