De-sexing male cats can reduce diseases of the cat’s reproductive organs, bring them closer to their owners and stop indiscriminate urination. De-sexing female cats can reduce uterine diseases and keep cats away from being irritable when in heat. Overall, the advantages of de-sexing cats outweigh the disadvantages. If possible, early de-sexing is recommended.
