Teddy’s sudden convulsions and inability to stand up may be due to calcium deficiency, low blood sugar, or the after-effects of distemper, or may be due to symptoms associated with epilepsy. If the convulsions are minimal and no other symptoms are present, the dog may be kept at home for observation. If the convulsions are accompanied by other abnormal symptoms, take the dog to hospital for examination and treatment.
