Common internal parasites in dogs include coccidia, roundworms and tapeworms. Therefore when a dog is found to have internal parasitic infections, clinically the following symptoms may occur: depression, loss of appetite, loose stools, vomiting, blood, jelly-like stools and in severe cases, worms. This is the time to take the dog to hospital for a fecal microscopy to confirm the diagnosis.
