The main symptoms of gastroenteritis in cats are depression, a slight increase in body temperature, reduced appetite, indigestion, vomiting and diarrhoea, as well as mucus in the faeces. In the later stages of the disease, the main symptoms are unsteady walking and occasionally foul-smelling bloody stools with an unpleasant odour.
