Signs of a cat giving birth a week before

Before the mother cat gives birth: careful observation of the mother cat’s body will reveal swollen nipples, overflowing milk, an obviously enlarged abdomen and she will start to find shelter for her cubs. The mother cat will also change in mood, stay in a quiet and comfortable place, lose her appetite in the first few days of labour and her body temperature will drop in the first 24 hours of labour.
