Symptoms of UTI in dogs are depression, loss of appetite, vomiting, lethargy, diarrhoea, breathing difficulties and impaired consciousness. Its onset is mainly caused by various kidney disorders such as acute or chronic renal failure, chronic nephritis and chronic pyelonephritis from various causes. The decision as to whether to euthanise or not depends on the owner’s own assessment.
