It is recommended to wait until the canned cat food has returned to room temperature before feeding it to the cat. The temperature of canned cat food is relatively low after refrigeration, so if the cat is fed cold canned food directly at room temperature, it will have gastrointestinal problems and will vomit and have diarrhoea after eating the cold canned food.
