A purebred Bichon can be seen by its eyes and nose, the nose is all black and the eyes can be seen at a glance with more black eyes and less white eyes. Shoulder height should be between 9 and 12 inches, not less and not more, with some variation up and down. Anything outside of this range means that the dog is not a purebred Bichon.
