The Norwegian Forest Cat is introverted, independent, intelligent, agile, alert, cautious, adventurous and active, capable of catching, climbing trees and rocks, and has the reputation of being a “capable hunter”. The Dachshund is not suitable for long periods indoors, but is best kept in a home with a courtyard and a spacious environment.
